Dentures Bring Back Your Smile

Missing teeth change how you smile, eat, and speak. Dentures help by replacing those gaps with natural-looking artificial teeth. These removable teeth restore confidence and make everyday tasks easier.

  • Dentures look and feel natural, improving your smile
  • They help you chew food properly, making digestion easier
  • Speaking becomes clearer as dentures fill missing spaces
  • Modern dentures fit well and feel comfortable

At Agawam Dental Arts, we design dentures tailored to your specific needs. Our team ensures they fit securely and work smoothly. If you need a reliable solution for missing teeth, we can help.

Picking the Right Dentures for You

Dentures come in two types: full and partial. The best choice depends on the number of teeth needing replacement.

  • Full Dentures: These are used when all natural teeth are missing. They cover the whole upper or lower gum.
  • Partial Dentures: These are used when some natural teeth are still present. They fit around your teeth and fill in the empty spaces.

A dentist will examine your teeth and recommend the best course of action. Both types aid in chewing and speaking. Dentures also prevent the face from sinking in due to missing teeth. A good fit makes them stay in place and feel natural.

How Custom Dentures Make Life Easier

Custom dentures are made to fit your mouth perfectly. A good fit prevents slipping and discomfort. They also match the color of your natural teeth, making them look real.

  • Custom dentures reduce irritation by fitting well
  • They provide better support for your gums and jaw
  • A well-made set of dentures prevents sores and discomfort
  • You can eat a variety of foods with fewer restrictions

At Agawam Dental Arts, we design dentures for comfort and durability. Our team ensures you receive a set that enhances function and appearance.

How Dentures Are Made to Fit Just Right

Dentures are made using precise steps to ensure comfort.

  • Mouth Impressions – A mold is taken to capture the shape of your gums and any remaining teeth
  • Bite Test – A temporary wax model is used to check how the upper and lower teeth meet
  • Final Fit – The permanent dentures are created and adjusted for comfort
  • Follow-ups – Any necessary changes are made to improve the fit

Good-fitting dentures prevent pain and make daily activities easier. If they feel loose, adjustments can fix the issue.

What to Expect When Getting Dentures

Getting dentures involves a few steps. Understanding the process makes it easier.

  • Dental Checkup – The dentist examines your mouth to see if dentures are the best option
  • Taking Impressions – Molds of your gums and any remaining teeth are made
  • Denture Creation – A dental lab makes the dentures based on the mold
  • Fitting and Adjustments – The dentist ensures a comfortable fit and makes changes if needed

Initially, dentures may feel uncomfortable. It takes time for the mouth to adjust. Speaking and eating will get easier with practice. Regular checkups help keep them in good shape.
